I can always tell when I hear a GM 3X00 V6 because it sounds like someone farting into a trombone. Also a lot of the 80's early 90's cars have exhaust leaks so that really amplifies the trombone tooting.

Haha yeah the GM multiport v6 tone is distinctive.... sounds like when a junkyard moves the running cars around on their lot. When I was 16 years old (14 years ago!) and didn't know any better I tried many different mufflers on a 3800 series II....looking back on that, it did not sound good.
